Yeah! And it's getting on time where _I_ get to pester your ass again! Ha!

Have some other alternative new ideas to discuss too -- may be more up your alley style-wise. We shall see.

I don't think Scotty's really the sort who'd catch up on six months of posts.

approx. 18 hours at this point..hopefully only two more sessions left, but they may not happen until September because I'm going west coast for the summer.

Hello there, suckaz.

Due to my own "I hate UTMC" hissyfit, I haven't updated this thread in some time. Now that I've had my time-out, I figured I would throw some newer stuff in here.

Tons of work going on, and I'm backed up for weeks trying to keep up. But this is ok.

Here are some more recent pichers of some of the funnery around the workplace...

The hotrod sleeve is nearing completion, and the outboard side is knocked out. I'm really pleased with the progress:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=BahopmetX028.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/BahopmetX028.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

This one has been posted before, but was completed. Poor photog skills don't do it any justice:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=Newstuff018.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/Newstuff018.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I absolutely love this piece. The healed tattoo looks phenomenal, and I still giggle when I look at it:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=Tattoo077.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/Tattoo077.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

On a pharmacist from Annapolis. Super cool 1/4 sleeve:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff047.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff047.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

On a stylist from DC. Great client and a good time:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff067.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff067.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

A cool coverup of a tragic ghetto jailhouse looking spider:

Before -
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff051.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff051.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

After -
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff055.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff055.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Kooky hand skull on a guy from Detroit. Love this guy:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=Tattoo039.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/Tattoo039.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Girly bat. I don't know why I like this so much. I generally don't even photograph things I didn't design, but this was fun:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff039.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff039.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

A classic, and my favoritest style of tattooery:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff008.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff008.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Some cool one-shot pieces:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=Brass009.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/Brass009.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=Newstuff029.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/Newstuff029.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=BahopmetX014.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/BahopmetX014.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

A pair of supercute flight attendants. Life's rough...
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff063.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff063.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I've been doing a shit ton of ornate lettering lately:
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=MayStuff074.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/MayStuff074.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And last but not least - The completed Baphomet on the venerable BlackJoe. 40-odd hours of blood, sweat, and coffee culminated in an end result that is phucking phantastical. This piece never got old, and never stopped being fun to do. I couldn't have asked for a better guy to spend countless hours with than a good pal like Joe. We have an hour of tying loose ends to go, but it won't change the appearance of the final result. Thanks for the opportunity, my man...
<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=BahopmetX011.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/BahopmetX011.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Lots on deck, and more to come...

Also...

My website is finally fucking up and operational as of today. Much updating and whatnot will go on there.

I decided ultimately to utilize Other People's Pixels as the platform. It's just too easy and nice to work with.

I highly recommend http://www.otherpeoplespixels.com

They host sites specifically for artists, and their service is superduper. You can retain all of your domain names and just point the OPP site to them by changing nameservers. Easy breezy - this site took me one hour to fashion and was up in 2 hours. Keep in mind that I'm damned near an idiot, too.

WAT! I don't speed around town! :p (not much anyway). We'll just have to organize something. If dozer is around the area for some time we should all head out. I'm out of school for now so I'm free during the week after 4:30, weekends are whenev.

This morning, I started a mighty cool tattoo on Jaeger, bright and early. A good ride in, and a good old time. On top of that, a morning shop visit by BlackJoe and Tumbler rounded out a compete UTMC tattoo shenanigans day. A parking lot full of bikes, coffee, and a freshly marked-up Jaeger. The piece is unfinished and un-photographed as yet, so more to follow soon...

I'm glad you enjoyed the under-arm experience. Nobody else does. Good on you for not being a total bitch under there.

Of course you're welcome to post up your own pics of the half done piece, should you wish.

In fact, this thread has become 11 pages of nothing but vanity.

I think that it should be opened up to the tattoooooery of other Terrorists, and related matter. Therefore, upon completion of this very post, I'm changing the name of this thread appropriately.

Nice stuff Priest.

I've been thinkin' about ink lately. Just finished working on a (gulp) 'chopper' for a new friend who's a pretty good tattooer. Eddy Deutsche ring a bell? Cool guy and he tattoos fuckin fast. Never seen a dude cover so much skin in a short time.

Maybe you'll see some pics from me in here soon-ish.

I've been following this thread for ages, and i keep wanting to post something up, but it just floors me every time. Your work is just fucking flawless, and it's by hand, and permanent, on skin! No erasers, no computers, no undo button, no straightedge, no french curve, no illustrator brushes, no fancy filters or plug-ins.

Damn. I am in awe.

Thank you, sir. I appreciate the support from another artist who's design ability tramples my own any day of the week.

Speaking of hands -

I am rounding the last bend on the supercool Ghoulie Hotrod Sleeve on Jenny from the shop. The piston on the bottom inside was a couple of weeks back, and the Frankenhand and wrench was today (up to the blackwork today). One more session of color under the arm, and this sleeve hits the books. I'm extra pleased with the resulting seamless feel of the layout. It's important (to me) that a sleeve be a single, fluid design - even if composed of multiple elements and focal points, the big picture has to be perceived as one motion. This applies to all extensive work. It's pretty challenging to achieve that result sometimes.

<a href="http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/?action=view¤t=Sleeve5002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e95/yurasuka/Sleeve5002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

A few weeks from now, I'll drive this one home.

Word on the street says that BlackJoe's giant Baphomet mopped up the big Richmond Tattoo Expo with a first place backpiece nod. Details to come I assume, but surely a deserving reward for a guy that bled for over 40 hours to wear it.

Hello all. Been awhile.

I've come to find out that I'll be making a one-day-only appearance at the Baltimore Tattoo Convention on Saturday, September 12. Friday and Sunday will be worked by my coworkers.

Should you wish to get a portion of your filthy hides all bloodied up and indelibly etched, let me know ASAP. Time and availability will be most limited.

Cheers,
