At this exact moment the sounds of Modern Superstitions are emanating from my speakers.
Night before last, I went and saw Gentleman Jessie and his Men, with local bluespunkgopspelcountrytrash heroes Catl. Sarah from Catl, while exhorting people dance about and fill in the dance floor called me out, "you, you in the leather jacket, with the hair. Move closer." Not sure how I feel about that. Awesome band though. The Strange Boys were the headliner.

Right now, the dialogue from the old TV show I'm watching, dw, the web of fear.

Before that, on winamp:

Georges Bizet; Symphony in C
Jeux d'Enfants
L'Arlésienne Suite 1
Prelude
London Symphony Orchestra, 1994

And only because Hammer into Anvil is my favorite episode of The Prisoner.
If there were absolutely anything to be afraid of, don't you think I would have worn pants?

I said I have a big stick.

Serj Tankian's sophomore solo album, so far not as impressive as his first solo effort.

I REALLY Like it though. I also heart Trent, they are in different spaces. I don't live in the universe where Trent and Richie are mutually exclusive.

I know this isn't a country crowd by any stretch but the new Jamey Johnson "the guitar song" is really good. He has a Bluesy, guttural delivery that matches his song topics which are more dark then most of what Nashville puts out. He recorded the song "that's why I write songs" at the Ryman in Nashville and you can hear the notes echo off the wooden pews. Its' real good for a moonshine passing, fire watching evening.
