Ongoing Feature: Our MC-related dreams

Latest one is recurring and kinda driving me crazy.

Of note we are slowly building a "brat" bike out of an extra cb450 for my son.

So we start out doing the parking lot exercises and such to get his permit, then we are out on the highway, me following him around, and slowly he just goes away. No way I can catch up, not fast enough. He never looks back...
It makes me happy and then mostly sad.

Abrupt start, at a festival of some sorts, packing up to leave. Lots of Ootmiks there, but I definitely remember @AZRider , @Jaeger , @problemaddict , @Bigshankhank , and eventually @Rench showed up. We were initially riding our regular old ICE bikes, then it shifted, and we were riding home brew EV bikes. I remember the sensation of speed, the sounds of the wind, tires on tarmac, and the faint whine of the electric motor. Ripping down the road like a pack of silent street sharks, the weather was perfect, and there was ZERO traffic. All of us following Rench back to his place, to help him replace the roof, and build a deck.

The weather is getting nicer, and I'm seeing/hearing more bikes on the road. I think that's what's fueling my recent trend of moto dreams. As well as the fact that I recently was gifted a mountain bike, so I've been riding it and reading about bikepacking.

This time, I was riding a BDR type ride with a bunch of randos, on my Hurricane. I remember riding hard and fast in the twisties (clearly a dream, because that's not me), then it turned to gravel, and eventually riding up a multi-level stair case. They were really steep and my bike was almost starving for fuel, but I made it to the top.

At the top of the stairs, was some sort of abandoned factory, which was the last check point. We sat on the roof, overlooking an amazing view of mountains, eating and drinking.
