A few days ago I shipped a package to Groove out in the Northwet and it reminded me how long it had been since I had visited the forum. Over four years, as the login shows.
After DerGoglo was kind enough to straighten out my account I logged in and was pleased to see so many familiar members still active. At the time I phased out, 2014, it looked like Facebook groups were going to take over. Plus I've gone from having a kid on the boob when I joined the forum to kids worried about boobs of their own. It's frightening.
I read about Dozer, which was truly sad. But I did have to smile at some of the pics posted after he passed, memories of events I was present for or heard about.
Anyway, I am still up here riding north of the Adirondacks. I sold the KLR and the FZ to help pay some bills and was bikeless for a while. Then an acquaintance "sold" me an 1989 EX250 so I could ride again.
Things have taken a positive turn in the last couple years. I bought a leftover 2015 CB300F, which has proven to be a fun little bike that I use as a dirt road runner.
I was also "given" a seized 1992 Yamaha Seca II. I am in the process of mating it with a barely running 1997 Seca II. Of course the two models don't quite match.

I ride solo most of the time now. If any of you folks are headed up this way, drop me a PM. I plan to check in more often, as I didn't realize how much I missed the community.
