Madison Cell Route Proposal

<iframe width="600" height="400" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source= ... "></iframe>

Pros:
- Includes scenic riding down the Great River Road along the Mississippi River in Iowa.
- Avoids Illinois and Kansas entirely.

Cons:
- Avoids Rench (unless he alters his plans).
- Takes ~2 hours longer than slabbing it on 80 the whole way.

....About 10.5 hours the first day, about 8 hours the second day.
Camping in Lake Conestoga State Park in Nebraska ($4-per-moto-per-day state park permit req'd)

Thoughts?

I think you put avoiding me in the wrong column.

Really, you guys would be going FAR out of your way to go my bass ackwards route. Yours looks fun though. May take that one home.

I might take a similar route, the slabby part anyway.

I'd say that looks like fun, and definitely worth an extra couple hours!

I've never been camping... This could be interesting.
I guess I don't see anything wrong with it - toll roads anywhere in there? And I'm for routes that avoid IL. :D
And Rench, you're fun to ride with! I just don't trust you on weather. At all.
