The kid simply owns his competition (2nd yr running with a No. 1 plate in AMA Supermoto and won the RC cup in USA too - not so good in England due to technical difficulties).
So Brad Baker is going to Spain to see if Marquez will sandbag for him too (kidding). He should get a check from Rossi after he wins in Spain.
Which brings me back to USA racing. So many talented kids right now, with nowhere to go. I feel bad that I don't make the kind of money to send these kids to Europe to get the kind of competition and exposure they need to make it to the big stage. Sadly, this is a relatively new phenomenon.

That's easy, NO FUCKING SPONSORS! In F1 you come up with an idea that costs 4 million dollars to implement, but shaves off a bona fide .10 of a second, the team won't bat an eye, they'll pay it! Mostly the same is true in GP. Consequently, you can't really make it when Dick's Bail Bonds or Saddlemen seats are you bread and butter sponsors. Sure, in dirtrack you have some sponsorship parity (relatively speaking), but GP? You had better bring the players with you . . . or you have nothing. Honda has Repsol sponsoring it's spanish racers. Yamaha has Fiat and a whole host of other italian companies on board. Ducati has Marlboro, and some Xerox, though both are american companies with more focus on other international markets.
