To be remembered, you must have cookies enabled in your browser. Some people prefer using "private" browsing mode - which precludes cookies being placed on your device in the first place.
Some people use regular browsing mode, but may have chosen to disable all cookies in their settings. Sometimes, these people will end up tearing their hair out because a lot of websites just don't work at all, like many online stores, as many e-commerce platforms don't do bugger all without using cookies.
Me, I've got "Self-Destructing Cookies" plugins in my various browsers. Which lets me accept all cookies everywhere, smug in the knowledge that they will be deleted the instant I close that browser tab. I can even set it to delete the cookies only when I close the whole browser window, which is helpful with online stores.
And I can whitelist sites like the board, so the plugin doesn't mess with those cookies at all.
And you must use the same browser, on the same machine. Unless you're using something like a cookie manager that syncs to all your devices and things, your apple browser on your ipad won't have the delicious cookies chrome has on your PC. And unless google now manages cookies between your devices (who knows what the fuck they do), even chrome on your Android won't have the same cookies as chrome on your notebook, or chrome on your other Android.

Seeing how it's been nearly 18 months since that, with no further alarms getting rung, and how everyone has had 758,214 opportunities to take a minute to think about the security of their passwords, I've taken that notice down.

As I am certain you are already aware, there is quite a bit of controversy surrounding these new rules. The death of prototype-class racing and so forth...

I shut off my GP subscription after VR-MM disaster, mainly MM guarding J-Lo's rear and denying any bromance, have not looked twice at any GP stuff in month, but this makes me wonder if the same players will still be on top for 2016. Bottom line if Repsol still owns the show I'm not gonna watch it, or at least not gonna pay for it. SBK an BSB for 2016!

Guess the common core ECU didn't quite provide the balance in the field that everyone predicted. Shame Viñales had such a crap start, but its a long season.

Re: MotoGP rules 2016
I'm conflicted about the state of MotoGP, but still find it more interesting than it was a few years ago. We all want to see the fastest, most sophisticated bikes in the world . . . .but we also want to see a good race. Is it a tech demo or a sport?
Yesterday, we saw 4 riders battling it out right up to the final lap. If Iannone hadn't lost his front end earlier in the race, it could have been a lot more interesting. My heart was pumping on the final lap, so I'd still call it a success.

Re: MotoGP rules 2016
Race was a snoozer, for once F1 was more interesting, like way more interesting (even without Fred's crash).
Everything is just the way I expected it, same riders doing for the win and finishing almost as predicted. Hope there are changes for next race, like both Ducati making is to the final lap, Crazy Joe showed his pace and I'm sure he can do some damage if he can keep it on 2 wheels, because he is like a Honey badger, he don't give a fuck, will battle anyone and everyone, which I think is most dangerous for J-Lo if he disrupts his pace.

I mean, the same old faces we have all become accustomed to, but Ducati teamwork certainly shook it up at the last minute (turn, whatever). Overall a good race, shame Vale's 2nd bike wasn't working right.
Did anyone else get the impression that Lorenzo binned it once he realized his bike wasn't doing what he wanted? It just seemed like his low-side was unforced, and he made little effort to pick up what looked like a pretty lightly rashed up machine.

So apart from some concerns related to the tires, it seems like the spec ECU's and other rules haven't made much difference.

so far they just seem randomly affected by the changes except that the top guns are still the top guns. For me this introduction of a random factor is the opposite of a fair competition where everyone has to compete with the same basis and thus the same tools and chances.

From what I understand the Bridgestones had better edge grip, suits Yamaha and J-Lo's style
Michelins provide better off the corner traction, suits Honda and MM.
Front end feel obviously not as good as with B-Stones and it's catching everyone out.

For what I read about the post race intw's, the Bridgestones used to give more info to the rider about their limits while the Michelin is very efficient but just suddenly lose it without any warning.MATPOC wrote:From what I understand the Bridgestones had better edge grip, suits Yamaha and J-Lo's style

That totally explains the number of crashers, I mean Cal going down does not surprise me, but VR and Pedro rarely crash, and then there was a J-Lo incident in Argentina... I know, wet, cold, still he just dropped, not like him to go down so easilyxtian wrote:For what I read about the post race intw's, the Bridgestones used to give more info to the rider about their limits while the Michelin is very efficient but just suddenly lose it without any warning.MATPOC wrote:From what I understand the Bridgestones had better edge grip, suits Yamaha and J-Lo's style

Regarding Pedro, it does make me wonder what if any impact the tires had in his bike bucking the way it did just prior to washing out Dovi.MATPOC wrote: That totally explains the number of crashers, I mean Cal going down does not surprise me, but VR and Pedro rarely crash, and then there was a J-Lo incident in Argentina... What a crash fest that turned into, poor Ducati just isn't meant to get a podium this year no matter how hard they try. And love him or hate him, I gotta give credit to Marc for picking up his wrecked-ass bike and earning a few points, never know if those may be important later. Dare I say he is showing way more maturity this year than last. Overall I would rate this one below Jerez last week, if only for the multiple battles for various positions, this one everybody just kind of spread out.
