I wanted to play, but sold my dual-sport. So I found a bridge on a gravel road. Its not "off highway" and its the worst cellphone pic ever, so I don't think it counts, but I'll post it here just for fun:

Also, we all know that there is a website for everything, but I was still amazed to find http://www.bridgehunter.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, where I found directions to this bridge.

@nate: um, where's the bike in your pipe photo? does that even count? Since I'm not really playing, I suppose my quibble could be ignored, but I'm not sure it counts if there's no bike in the pic, anyone could have taken that photo!

LIke I said, didn't think it counted considering the circumstances, however, a nice ride is planned for Saturday. Might find a new target en route. I'll keep ya posted...

OK, i waited patiently. Here's my tag of a off-road bridge only open to non-road vehicles & pedestrians (though not strictly legal for ORV's):

And here's the new target:
Image
It's a fire engine with a "for sale" sign in the window. I'm open to interpretation, maybe an ambulance or a cop car for sale by the side of the road, maybe you've got a better idea for a match. Go for it!

I'm looking, and have seen some fire engines in yards, but none with a For Sale sign or anything indicating they were for sale. Went past a fire apparatus sales place, but they didn't have a damn truck anywhere on the lot.

A nice challenging tag.

I had taken two or three rides specifically looking for fire apparatus for sale. No joy. Then, coming back from Vermont today and not really looking, I found not one, but TWO!

Marlboro, VT, $6000

and Warner, NH, didn't get the price.

i'm astonished at how slow we all are at this game.

So, I will see you your Gold Dome, and raise you four more:

Image

oddly, right next door to this church is a mosque with a bronze dome, and just a few miles further on my travels today i passed a mosque with a silver dome, and then one with a gold dome, so i've hit the whole mosque dome trifecta today.

new challenge: a monument to the Great War. Below, the (now controversial) Peace Cross:

Image

OR...ALTERNATIVELY
any true 3D stereoscopic photo of your bike, anywhere, in any of the commonly accepted 3D formats.
above, a “classic” stereo card, below, an anaglyph of the same scene, but there are a couple other common ways to post stereo images. I'll accept anything that I can see depth in.

Image

any camera can take 3D pictures...try searching for “single camera stereo 3d” in your search engine of choice....

Dammit, I had my gold dome and my new tag. Now to go get a war memorial.

My town hall has a gold dome, and the Greek Orthodox church a block from where I work has a silver dome.
