The Only Good Millyard...

Post by DerGolgo » Mon Sep 28, 2020 3:08 am

You thought I was gonna say "is a Flying Millyard", didn'tcha?

Well, I won't! Plenty good Millyards. A few brilliant Millyards. At least one genius Millyard (fella called "Allen").

Here he goes and shows off what isn't even his most mental creation, the aforementioned avian variety.
Just look at that massive crank. I've seen wilder stuff, back when I deluded myself I had the stuff to become an engineer. Still feels wrong that something so huge should seem to turn so easy. Mad workmanship!

Part Deux!

I hope he finds the original spout for his vintage petrol can.

I'm disappointed he didn't make a replacement.

I'm willing to bet he just hasn't made one yet.

I'm sure when he does it'll have 3 spigots and a relief vent he made from a 1928 Stutz boat engine main bearing he had lying around the shop.

So, how do you put a Viper V10 engine in a motorbike?

With two Yam R1 shock absorbers is how! Two R1 shock absorbers... with Ford Escort springs...

Obvious, really, why it has three separate, independent stands. One of which doesn't work how you think!
Not to mention the front stoppers...

Good gods, that thing is absurd. If the tach is any indication he's lugging it around just above idle -- at what appear to be highway speeds.

This one sentence encompasses so much. Of the lifestyle I dream of, and how I imagine Master Millyard's life to be like.
I've had a quick rummage in the shed, and I've found enough parts to make a complete 350 four cylinder engine
