Indeed. Ollam isn't event the most wicked of the pen-testers. I sometimes like to watch this stuff and the tales they got are generally at least entertaining, if not outright enlightening.Jaeger wrote:Find the 45min. There's another talk somewhere, where they explain their efforts to try and find a way to destroy a harddrive to the point that data-retrieval is impossible. They ended up on the bomb-squad blasting range, with shaped charge devices. It's really easy to get lost in youtube there, when it'll just auto-queue one talk after the other.

Can't wait for when commodity AV software and processing reach the point that someone can make them speak and do things they didn't in the og film, to make something totally new. And cobble together a 90 minute feature. That day is coming. There's (I'm told) software that will "learn" the face of someone out of video, so that you can put a celebrity's face onto actors in a porno. Obviously, that's the first thing that technology is used for.
But goshdangit. Hollywood is gonna have to come up with some seriously novel stuff to compete with all the small indy shops that can just make movies on a desktop computer, and it looks like someone actually shot something with actors on a stage.
