I have an interview this week with a staffing company called "Alternative Human Resources", are they looking for alternatives to humans?

Good plan. Get in on the side of our new robot overlords early, before it's too late. Careful, though. They may not accept you unless you replace some some major bit with superior hardware.
But, come to think of it, many of us around here have done that already, they seem to be doing alright. You'll probably be fine, just remember to keep a can of WD40 in your pockets.
