It's called geoguessr.
They show you a streetview image, you can look around, and then you've gotta put a pin in the map of the world where you think it may be. And it's not images of famous places, no, perfectly ordinary, sometimes even utterly deserted places. You look and at first you think "Goddamn, that could be just about anywhere". But, when you think about it, it's not quite as hard. Of five rounds, my error was over 350 miles from the actual place only once.

Of 5 rounds, my worst was around 141 feet off, and my best was 3 feet off.

Fun game! But then again I'm a bit of a map-head.

OMG I've been on a lonely stretch of blacktop in the middle of... I don't know... For about half an hour. Nothing. I'm pretty sure I'm on the African continent, however.
This is fun.
I only wish it wasn't so time consuming; I'm already getting shit from my wife about it.

Super time suck. I went though 4 rounds and spent a ton of time in Brazil. Got dumped off in Japan once and thought it would take a while... only about 5 minutes. And I've gotten four exact locations. Right on the money, 0.000km.

It's interesting to see some of the Brazilian towns and cities where motorcycles seem to outnumber cars.
