So, have you ever given "the wave" to another 2 wheeler, then realize you're in your car? DOH!

Nah, but I've occasionally hopped into the carpool lane alone in the truck after a few months of daily bike commutes.

I was making my way down the road the other day, waving at the bikes that went by with my left hand on the way out, and the right hand on the way back home. I was out there for an hour and a half and only one dude out of countless others gave so much as a head nod. I was pretty disenchanted to be honest, even a little pissed off. The fact that no one waved back because I was on foot didn't occur to me until much later when the delirium from running for an hour and a half in the sun wore off. Then I laughed at me.

I gave the 2-fingers-down wave to a rider from my work rig yesterday. He was stuck in the resulting jam from us cleaning up another rider, so he kinda gave me a look.
