I was in PA at a LARP and managed a High Ankle Sprain, and a fracture of my fibula on my *good* leg.
Surgery is Friday.
Need to figure out what to do with bike, as my riding season days are suddenly from the mid 80's to 0.

Anyway, just wanted to let people know I wasn't dead yet.

Congratulations on not dying. I never realized LARPing was such an intense, injury prone event. I remember doing it when I was a pre-teen but back then it wasn't called LARP, rather it was just kids roaming around drainage channels and smacking each other with swords made out of broom handles (or the really hardcore kids had proper kendo sticks).

Yeah, I’m a former Marklander and SCA member from many moons ago, so I’ve done my share of frat fighting. Shit, the LARP stuff is supposed to be more gentle!

Glad you’re not dead, anyway. Where in PA? When you say “LARP” do you really mean “Pennsic”?
