I wasn't too sure whether I should post this in the Headline News section or not, but I'd heard about this a while ago but hadn't really checked it out until now. After reading a number of different reviews (aside from the ones on the page) I have to admit I'm more than mildly intrigued. Fortunately (?) there's no serious attempt at singing on this as in his last albums, which is I suppose a mixed blessing.
So, without further ado I give youWilliam Shatner

They play a couple of these songs on the Texas Tech college radio station here, in town. It's like spoken word meets total rant . . . but with good music! I like the one featuring Henry Rollins.

That duet with Henry Rollins sample is hilarious. Only William Shatner could make an album like this...

Here I am, sitting in front of my computer at 1am...listening to XM radio...and who should come on channel 29 (U-Pop), but...
William FUCKING Shatner !!!

His song "Common People" was thrashing away:

"You'll never watch your life slide out of you;
You'll dance and sing and screw..."

The Apocalypse is near...I can feel it.
